Kiwi and Cucumber Smoothie

Kiwi is a berry fruit and very rich in dietary fiber, Vitamin C and K . This is a plain looking fruit which looks pretty when cut open into slices ! I love the beautiful green color with little dotted black spots which make kiwi look interesting and eager  to make an impression. So we give it a chance and blend it with cool cucumber and fresh mint thrown in for flavor, to form a juicy and tasty smoothie. It will lend some  of its beauty to us as this mixture is said to be very cooling and good for skin..so try it on at home or make it as a healthy drink for a party !

Kiwi Cucumber Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Kiwi--3 (ripe)
  • Cucumber- 1 (medium sized)
  • Fresh Mint leaves--3-4
  • A pinch of salt
  • Sugar--1 tablespoon (optional)
  • Water --1/2 a cup

Recipe

Blend all the ingredients together and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Note--You can add apples to this smoothie too!
